Build / Execute

The engineering team builds, assembles, and tests the final solution using whatever development approach fits best—there’s no required methodology. The only expectation is to deliver according to the metrics defined in the Plan phase. Some components may already exist from ongoing innovation work, while others may need to be created. All elements are ultimately integrated and tested as the team moves toward the release date.

The commercialization activities across business functions are also planned and executed in this phase. Commercialization encompasses all the activities required to sell and support the offering. This includes various functions across Product, Sales, Services and Corporate teams.

Launch Plan & Readiness

Product Development

Product development is our process of turning ideas into usable software by planning, designing, building, testing, and improving. We focus on creating value for customers, adapting quickly through feedback, and delivering working solutions efficiently using modern practices like agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery.

Building Blocks

Key Deliverables

Key deliverables are the critical outputs that move our offering from idea to market. They include roadmaps, feature definitions, launch plans, messaging, and sales enablement tools. These deliverables ensure alignment, guide development, support go-to-market efforts, and drive customer adoption and business growth.

Key Metrics

Key metrics are our most important measurements that track how well our offering is performing. They show progress, quality, speed, and value delivered to customers. Teams use these metrics to make better decisions, improve processes, and ensure business and customer goals are met.

Upward Curve

Cross-Functional Plans

Cross-functional plans are coordinated strategies that align different teams (product, engineering, marketing, sales, support, finance, legal, etc.) around shared goals. They define roles, timelines, and activities across our teams, ensuring smooth collaboration, fewer silos, and consistent execution to deliver our offerings successfully and create a seamless experience for our customers and our business.

Missing Piece

Enablement Plans

Enablement plans are structured guides that equip our teams (ie. sales, support, marketing) with the knowledge, tools, and training they need to successfully position, sell, and support a product. They ensure everyone understands the product’s value, key features, and messaging, driving effective customer engagement and adoption.

Awareness (Internal/External)

Awareness is how well people inside and outside the company understand our offering, its purpose, and its value. Internally, it means teams are aligned and informed. Externally, it means customers, partners, and the market recognize and understand the offering, driving interest, trust, and adoption.
